Q1: DO I NEED AN APPOINTMENT:

We are by appointment only for bridal, especially on weekends.

 

We do not book bridesmaid appointments on Saturdays. They are on a first come, first served.  We do not start any bridesmaid’s appointments after 3:00pm on Saturdays.

Tux’s also require an appointment, but we do not require appointments for mother’s dresses or flower girl dresses.

 

Q2: HOW LONG SHOULD I EXPECT AN APPOINTMENT TO LAST:

Our Bridal appointments will last 90 minutes. Because of this, our last appointments for the day will be scheduled at least 90 minutes prior to closing time.

 

Bridesmaid appointments last 60 minutes. Because if this, our last appointments for the day well be scheduled at least 60 minutes prior to closing time. See our ”About Us” page for hours and location.

 

Q3: HOW DO I MAKE AN APPOINTMENT?

You have a few options as follows:
- Call Bridal Gallery at 605.362.9603.

- Go to our Contact Us page and submit the appointment request form.

- Personal Message us on our Facebook page Bridal Gallery Facebook.

 

Q4: HOW MANY GUESTS CAN I BRING TO MY APPOINTMENT?

We have limited seating, and request that you only bring those who are critical in assisting with the decision making process. We have four chairs reserved for your appointment. You are more than welcome to bring additional guests, but some may have to stand as you are only guaranteed four chairs.  

 

If you are bringing children to your appointment, they must remain with an adult at all times. They are not permitted to stand on pedestals, try on tiaras, veils, shoes, etc.

 

Q5: AM I ALLOWED TO TAKE PICTURES?

You are more than welcome to take pictures during your appointment. In fact, we encourage it! However, there are a few Trunk Shows throughout the year where Bridal Gallery has the honor of previewing new collections from our designers. No pictures are allowed at these Trunk Shows due to copyright protections.

 

Q6: HOW DO YOU DETERMINE WHAT SIZE I WILL WEAR?

A consultant will take your measurements and compare them to the designer size chart for your gown (each designer’s size chart varies). If your measurements fall between sizes, it is best to order up. This is because gowns can be taken in but may not have extra fabric to be let out. Ultimately, you have final say on which size is ordered. Please remember all sales are final.

 

Note that gowns are cut to the size you ordered, not your exact measurements. You should expect alterations, which are an additional charge, to make your gown fit properly.

 

Q7: WHEN DO YOU PLACE MY ORDER?

A minimum deposit of 50% is required on all bridal orders before we can order with the designer. Bridesmaids are to be paid in full and will be ordered together, meaning all the bridesmaids must be paid in full before we can order. This is to make sure the dresses all come from the same dye lot.

 

Q8: WHAT FORM OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?

We accept cash, check, or all major credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.

 

Q9: HOW CAN I HAVE THE BEST EXPERIENCE BRIDAL GALLERY HAS TO OFFER?

The best days to come to Bridal Gallery are weekdays. They are more relaxed then a busy Saturday. Do your research. Knowing your budget and knowing what styles you like verse don't like will help when looking and trying on the gowns.

 

Q10: WHEN ARE YOUR BIG SALES AND SPECIALTY EVENTS?

Bridal Gallery has sales and trunk shows throughout the year. Most sales and trunk shows take place during the months of January-March and September-November. Watch our website and follow us on social media for upcoming events, trunk shows, and sales.

 

Q11: DO YOU ACCEPT RETURNS?

ALL SALES ARE FINAL. The final sales policy is consistent with the bridal industry standard.

 

Q12: WHAT ARE THE PRICE RANGES OF THE GOWNS THAT YOU SELL?

Wedding gowns range from $800 up to $3400. Bridesmaid’s gowns range from $140 up to $340. We also have a clearance section of bridal gowns that start at $400.  Minimum deposit of 50% is required to place your order. All sale items must be paid in full at time of purchase.

 

WEDDING GOWN QUESTIONS

 

Q13: AFTER MY ORDER IS PLACED FOR MY WEDDING GOWN, HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE?

Average arrival time is four to six months from the order date, depending on the designer and the time of year. Special ordering your gown with custom changes may take a little longer. Rush shipping is available from most designers for an extra charge.  You will receive a ship date email from Bridal Gallery once your order is placed. In addition, you will receive a phone call when your gown arrives at the Bridal Gallery.

 

Q14: WHERE DOES THE DESIGNER SHIP MY GOWN WHEN IT IS READY?

All gowns are shipped to Bridal Gallery and inspected upon arrival. Once they are cleared for pick-up, you will receive a call informing you your gown has arrived! Your remaining gown balance is due at this time.

 

Bridal Gallery can also ship your items to you for an extra charge. All packages are shipped ground UPS unless you request and pay for a two day or overnight shipping.

 

Q15: HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO PICK MY DRESS UP ONCE IT ARRIVES AT THE STORE?

You are required to pick up your gown within six weeks of its arrival. We do offer a storage option for an additional fee if you wish to store your gown here longer than six weeks.  Again, the balance must be paid in full when your dress arrives in store.

 

It is your responsibility to schedule a “Try On” appointment once your gown arrives. This appointment is not a requirement, however, we strongly recommend that you try your gown on before leaving the store with it.

BRIDESMAID QUESTIONS

 

Q16: BRIDESMAID GOWNS SHIP TIME AFTER ORDERING?

Bridesmaid gowns take approximately three to four months to arrive after ordering. Rush options are available from most designers for an extra charge.

 

Q17: HOW CAN I MAKE SURE MY BRIDESMAIDS GOWN IS THE BEST FIT POSSIBLE?

Make sure your bridesmaids get measured properly. We recommend that you come in to try on the gown, or find a store near you that carries the gown. When individuals measure themselves there is more room for error. Every bridesmaid gown designer has its own size chart, and the sizes can vary greatly. You could wear a 6 by one designer and a 10 by another. Do not guess at your size! You can always have a gown taken in, but you may not have enough fabric to let a gown out. The bridesmaid gowns are not cut to your measurements. You are ordering the closest size to your measurements. Bridal Gallery will not choose your size for you we only suggest based on the specific designer size chart.

 

Q18: IF I ORDER THE WRONG SIZE BRIDESMAIDS GOWN WILL THE DESIGNER EXCHANGE SIZES WITH ME?

It is the policy of the bridal industry that there are no exchanges and all sales are final. Bridesmaid gowns are cut just for your order. The dresses are not kept in stock. When Bridal Gallery places your order for your bridesmaid gowns, the dresses are cut from the same dye lot of fabric and in the sizes you requested.
